Dwight Howard and Serena Williams are two of six athletes featured on six covers for ESPN Magazine’s “The Body Issue.” Other athletes include Adrian Peterson, Gina Carano, Claire Bevilacqua and Sara Reinersten. This issue hits newsstands October 9, 2009.

Tennis star Serena Williams unveiled her new wax figure at Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum in New York City earlier this week. According to Madame Tussaud’s official website, Serena Williams was very active in the planning stages of her wax figure. She met with a team from Madame Tussaud’s design studio for more than an hour, who flew to France as she trained for the French Open. The wax figure is wearing a replica of the outfit Serena wore during the 2004 U.S. Open. Congratulations to Serena! Check out more photos below!
