Yesterday, Wyclef, Rihanna, and Maxwell made a special appearance on Oprah to raise awareness and pay tribute to the victims of the earthquake in Haiti. Rihanna performed Bob Marley’s classic song, “Redemption Song.” You can download the song on iTunes and all proceeds will go towards helping the victims of the earthquake in Haiti. Just in case you missed it, last night ABC aired Oprah’s Christmas at the White House special. President Obama and First Lady Michelle opened up their home to Oprah as they prepare for their first Christmas at the White House. First Lady Michelle gave a Oprah a tour (which I loved). After the tour Oprah sat down with President Obama and asked him questions about his presidency and what grade would he give his performance thus far. Check out the interview below.

Wednesday’s episode of Oprah explored the fascination of weaves, hair extensions, perms and hair dyeing. Chris Rock spoke to Oprah about his film “Good Hair” where he investigates the impact of hairstyles in the black community. He visited various beauty salons and even Indian temples to answer his question, “What is good hair?” It’s amazing how much money women spend on hair annually (particularly fake hair). The weaving/extension industry is a billion dollar industry! I think I know what my next career choice is going to be…
