The verdict is in! Dr. Conrad Murray was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter in the death of Michael Jackson. As you may recall, on June 25, 2009 Michael Jackson died from a lethal injection of Propofol that was administered by Dr. Conrad Murray. The 12 jurors unanimously agreed (after 9 hours of deliberation) that Dr. Conrad Murray was responsible for Michael Jackson’s death. He was denied bail and remanded into custody until his sentencing on November 29, 2011. He faces a sentence of probation, 4 years in jail and a revoked medical license.
I still can’t believe that Michael Jackson passed away on 6/25/09. I remember it like it was yesterday, what I was doing, where I was and how I reacted when the unfortunate news broke.
Michael Jackson’s music and legacy will live on forever. There will never be another King of Pop. His music was so pure and full of love, and his talent was undeniable. I am thankful that I lived during Michael Jackson’s era and had an opportunity to witness REAL talent and REAL music…thank you Michael!
