Wow! Congratulations to Lady Gaga for claiming the #1 spot on the Billboard Top 200 Album Chart! Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way” also sold over 1.1 million copies in its debut, according to figures provided by Nielsen SoundScan. The last album to sell 1.1 million copies in a week was 50 Cent’s “The Massacre” in 2005.
Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way” sold 440,000 copies via Amazon’s 99-cent sale. It also sold 662,00 digital copies overall. I got my copy!
