This is exciting news for European fans! According to her official website, Janet will be bringing her tour (Janet Jackson Number Ones: Up Close & Personal Tour) to Europe following sold out appearances in Asia and North America! The first three announced cities are London, Paris, and Monte Carlo.

I know I’ve been a little late with news lately, but just in case you haven’t heard Janet Jackson is going on tour in 2011! She announced on her official website janetjackson.com, that she will kick-off her tour on February, 14, 2011 in Hong Kong! Tickets for the concert, which will take place at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre, go on sale next Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at 10 a.m. This is very exciting news!
In other Janet news, a few days ago a beautiful custom-made Janet doll hit the internet. Mattel made the Janet Barbie to resemble her 2010 American Idol finale performance. Project Angel Food is auctioning off the barbie to help support their programs (which provides daily meals for people homebound or disabled by HIV/AIDS and other serious illnesses). The auction for the barbie will end on December 15, 2010 and all proceeds will benefit Project Angel Food. Check out the barbie after the break!

Janet Jackson’s new book “True You: A Journey to Finding and Loving Yourself, co-written with David Ritz” was revealed earlier this week. Janet has mentioned in the past that it’s not an autobiography but it focuses on self-esteem and loving yourself. The book comes out in January and you can pre-order it now on Amazon.com.
