Per a request I received, today’s Flashback Friday Video is by Monica with “Don’t Take it Personal (Just One of Dem Days).” The song was lead single for Monica’s album Miss Thang in early 1995. It was eventually certified platinum by the RIAA. It spent two weeks at number-one on the U.S. Billboard Hot R&B Songs chart, and peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot 100. Enjoy!

Flashback Friday Video: Soul for Real “Candy Rain”

Happy Friday!!! It’s that time again, so today’s Flashback Friday Video is by Soul for Real with “Candy Rain.” I remember when this song came out and my group created an aerobics routine for gym class using this song. LOL! Anyway “Candy Rain” was released on November 15, 1994 and it spent three weeks at #1 on the US R&B chart. It also peaked at #2 on the US Billboard Hot 100. Enjoy!
