“The Game” Fans it’s official: BET will start airing new episodes! Sister 2 Sister Magazine spoke exclusively with singer-actress Drew Sidora about the news.
“The show is getting picked up, so for people that have been petitioning and wondering, it is coming back to BET. So, hopefully, you will see me back,” Drew told S2S exclusively. “It is official. The deal has been done.
“Right now, they’re just trying to figure out when it’s going to actually come back, as far as when we start filming the new episodes and things like that,” said Drew. “But BET has picked it up.”
“Everybody that petitioned—believe it or not—about the show getting cancelled, that is really what ultimately had BET even looking to pick it up,” she explained. “It was really dope. Everybody really loves the show and supports the show, so all I can say is keep watching.”
No official word if all the original cast members will be returning. Also production on another season of “The Game” hasn’t started yet and filming might take place in Atlanta.
Lil Mama stopped by The Tyra Banks Show earlier this week. She addressed the VMA incident and she also talked about her guest appearance on America’s Next Top Model.
As you already know Usher released his single called, “Papers” which clearly dished out some dirt on his divorce situation with Tameka Raymond. Last week Beyonce received Billboard’s 2009 “Woman of the Year” award during Billboard’s annual Women In Music luncheon held at New York’s Pierre Hotel. Before Beyonce accepted the award she was introduced by Billboard’s Editorial Director, Bill Werde.
“It is theoretically possible someone on some other planet had a better year than Beyonce,” he quipped. “But I’m not buying it.”
“It’s obvious how classy she is,” Werde continued about Beyonce, who was accompanied by her mother and father, Matthew and Tina Knowles, and Michelle Williams from Destiny’s Child. Beyonce accepted the award, remarking “I am the luckiest woman in the world.”
