Janet Jackson sat down with Anderson Cooper recently and during the interview she reflected on Whitney Houston’s life. Anderson asked when she heard the news what did she think. Janet replied, “I couldn’t believe it. Immediately I started shaking and I was trying to text everybody I knew to let them know. I was speechless. I could not believe it.” She recalled the moments they spent together particularly in the 80s/90s during awards shows. Janet said that they would always take the time to find each other to say hello. Whitney would sometimes come in her dressing room or Janet would find her in her dressing room. She also offered advice to the family during this difficult time. Watch the video below.
