Congratulations to Beyoncé and Jay-Z! According to E! Online Beyoncé gave birth to a baby girl at Lenox Hill Hospital in NYC. She had a scheduled C-section and reportedly the baby girl’s name is Ivy Blue Carter. Their celebrity friends congratulated the couple via Twitter. Russell Simmons tweeted the following:

***UPDATE*** When we first reported the news, we stated that the baby’s name was Ivy Blue Carter. According to Beyoncé’s good friend actress Gwyneth Paltrow, the baby’s name is actually Blue Ivy Carter. Gywneth tweeted the following:

Welcome to the world Blue! We love you already.
