Former NFL star Lawrence Taylor (he was also on Dancing with the Stars) has been arrested in connection with allegedly raping a 16-year-old female in suburbs of New York City. As of right now he hasn’t been formally charged by charges will be filed upon completion of the investigation.

The Ramapo Police Department is investigating the alleged rape of a teenage girl, which, according to the police report, occurred at the Holidome Hotel in Montebello, N.Y.

The alleged victim, a 15- or 16-year-old runaway from the Bronx, N.Y., living as a prostitute, was taken back to New York City by her pimp, sources told ABC News.

On the way back to New York City, the girl texted her uncle and said that she had been attacked. The uncle called the New York Police Department, who met the girl. New York detectives alerted Ramapo police to Taylor’s alleged involvement. Police knocked on the door of his hotel room in the early hours this morning, waking the former linebacker.

The victim also had a black eye but police are unclear as to how she got it. A press conference is scheduled today. Stay tuned for updates. You can read the rest of the story here.
