Thought of the Week
So I decided to log into my myspace account today and I rediscovered my old blog! My old blog was definitely not celebrity or entertainment based at all. It was more personal, deeper and really revealed my innermost thoughts and feelings. So I want to bring some of that to Cherryconnect.com. Afterall this blog is about making a “connection” right? So I found an old entry I wrote and it was called “Spilled Milk (when it’s gone, it’s gone).” Check it out below.
Has there ever been a time where you were in the kitchen and you had just enough milk for cereal, coffee or even pancakes? So you reach into the fridge and you being clumsy, drop that carton of milk and now you’re pissed. You’re pissed because you took your time out to make that bowl of cereal, and/or got the ingredients that you needed to make pancakes just to drop the little bit of milk you had left. You were too lazy to go to the store knowing that you may not even have enough milk in the first place. Now you have to clean up the mess or “spilled milk” and put your cereal/coffee/pancakes on hold until you can replace that milk. Well that “spilled milk” represents people in the past who attempted to satisfy your hunger for that brief moment but now they’re “spilled” or gone. This can be ex-girlfriends, ex-boyfriends, ex-friends or whoever. When you spill milk just clean it up and go to the store and buy another one. There is plenty to choose from so you will not miss that old milk. Remember milk spoils in about a week anyway. The moral of this story is “don’t cry over spilled milk”. It’s gone and probably spoiled and you can’t use it again anyway
.
As I reflect on this blog post, I realized that I really had a valid point! Why cry over milk that’s spilled? It’s GONE. Let go of the past and move on to a better and brighter future. I can drink (milk) to that! Thoughts are welcome.
